What is dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is a process for cleaning garments that is not water based.

When will my clothes be ready to pick-up?

Your dry cleaning will be ready in two days, after 5pm, or sooner if you made arrangements for expedited service.

Will dry cleaning cause my clothes shrink?

The main things that can cause garments to shrink are moisture and heat. By removing water from the cleaning process and quickly ironing them, your clothes can be safely cleaned without shrinkage

How much does drop-off laundry services cost?

We charge by the pound with a $20 minimum.

Can you use my own soap or softener when I drop-off laundry?

Yes we can use any of your own products. We can also store them for your exclusive use every time you come in.

Can you clean my kid's stuffed animal toys?

Yes we can. Toy wolves have to be wash and wearwolves. The leopards come out spotless.

Do you hang or fold my clothes?

We'll do whatever you ask. If you have no preferance, we typically hang the more formal items like shirts, dresses, or slacks; and them protect them with a clear plastic garment bag.

Do you separate whites and colors?

We sort whites from colors while checking for stains or damage and check your pockets for any forgotten items. Then we wash them separately. Your clothes will never be mixed with anybody elses during our wash or dry process.

When will my clothes be done?

Same day service is typical and most drop-off laundry can be done in 2 to 3 hours. Upon request, the attendant can call you when its ready.

How do I use these washers and dryers?

An attendant is always on duty. Just ask them and they will gladly help you out. You will also see instructions printed on every machine.

How come the washer didn't wash my clothes right?

The most common problems result from using too much soap or packing too many clothes into a machine. If you use too much soap, there won't be enough water to rinse it all out and your clothes will still be wet and soapy at the end of the wash cycle. If you pack too many artcles into a machine, there won't be enouth room for them to freely agitate and they won't get clean, the ones in the middle might not even get wet!

Why did my clothes take so long to dry?

Overloading a dryer with clothes will be a problem because there won't be enough room for them to freely fall through the hot air in the dryer. In this case, it would be cheaper and faster for you to use two dryers.

I lost a sock. Where did it go?

Nobody knows.

Why did the machine "eat" my money?

Our washers and dryers are designed to operate on U.S. quarters (and not 25 cents worth of nickles, dimes, and/or pennies). Nothing else works because the machines check every coin for authenticity. Rejected coins fill either fall through uncounted or get stuck in the coin slot.

Why did my clothes get spots on them?

There are many sources. You can avoid the most common sources by looking through your clothes and checking all the pockets, and checking inside your washer or dryer before you use it. Also, excessive use of liquid fabric softeners or bleach will cause spots. Another source comes from some oil based cosmetic products that get onto your clothes.
